Whenever you design logos, brochure or other marketing collaterals for your brand which you have copyrighted or registered, you may want to add the respective symbols. This article will help you do that.
Add from the icons
You can add the copyright, registered or trademark symbols from WoFox's available icon library.
However, the most you can do is just change the color of the icon.
Keyboard shortcuts
You can also do it via keyboard shortcuts on the design editor and save time while you design, although the shortcuts vary for Windows and Mac devices.
For Windows:
Alt + 0169 = © (The Copyright Symbol)
Press the Alt key and quickly type the numbers 0169.
Alt + 0174 = ® (The Registered Symbol)
Press the Alt key and quickly type the numbers 0169.
Alt + 0153 = TM (The Trademark Symbol)
Press the Alt key and quickly type the numbers 0153.
For MacOS:
Option + g = © (The Copyright Symbol)
Press the Option key and type g
Option + r = ® (The Registered Symbol)
Press the Option key and type r
Option + 2 = TM (The Trademark Symbol)
Press the Option key and type 2
The registered symbol in the below image is applied with the Keyboard shortcut key.
What difference does it make?
Adding copyright, registered and trademark symbols in your designs via keyboard shortcuts makes a lot of difference than merely adding them from the icon library.
