About : National Shower with a Friend Day was held annually on February 5th. As we all know February is the coldest and loneliest month of the year. With gradually diminishing of daylight and this month can also often leave us feeling downhearted and dull. National Shower with a Friend Day was inaugurated by an environment company out of Denver called the “New Wave Enviro”. The main motive of this day was to create an awareness of the usage of chlorine contained water on our daily bases. Our body absorbs more chlorine through the skin and lungs than an intake of tap water. On this day we shower with our friends with chlorine-free water. This day was also announced officially as a national holiday
